EPFL officially joined the Multi Spectroscopic Telescope (MUST) project, led by Tsinghua University. This landmark project aims to map the universe with unprecedented detail, tracing its filamentary structure in the first 3 billion years.
Our ambassador, Jean-Paul Kneib, head of the Laboratory of Astrophysics (LASTRO) and EPFL leader in this project, highlighted its importance in deepening our understanding of dark energy and dark matter, which account for 96% of the universe’s content.
